Disney World group rates are available through specific sales channels, including convention packages, corporate event blocks, and Florida resident offers. Secret Mouse Tickets helps you locate these hidden sale pages by matching your travel dates to active group and convention inventory. This guide explains where to look, how eligibility works, and how to verify savings before you buy.
Room Block Requirements
Hotel room blocks are a primary way to access discounted Disney World tickets. A room block is a reservation of a specific number of hotel rooms for a group or event. When a group books a block, the hotel often includes discounted theme park tickets as part of the package. These tickets are typically sold at a lower rate than standard public pricing.
How Room Blocks Work
Groups must meet minimum room counts to qualify for a block. The exact number varies by hotel and event size. Once the block is confirmed, the group leader receives a booking code. This code allows individual guests to book their rooms and claim the associated ticket discounts. It is important to note that the ticket discount is tied to the room reservation, not just the group membership.
Eligibility and Restrictions
Not all groups qualify for room block discounts. Disney sets specific criteria for each event. Some blocks require a minimum number of nights, while others require a specific number of guests. You should always verify the terms before booking. Secret Mouse Tickets can help you determine if your trip size meets the minimum criteria for a matching offer.
Florida Resident Discounts
Florida residents have access to exclusive ticket discounts that are not available to out-of-state visitors. These offers are often tied to specific dates and require proof of residency. A Florida resident discount is a pricing tier that reduces the cost of theme park tickets for individuals who live in the state. These discounts can be significant, especially for multi-day passes. according to Economy of Florida

Convention and Corporate Event Packages
How to Access Convention Packages
Convention packages are usually sold through the event organizer or a designated travel agent. However, Disney also creates public sale pages for some convention inventory. These pages are not always visible to the general public. Secret Mouse Tickets specializes in finding these hidden sale pages. We match your travel dates to active convention offers so you can purchase eligible tickets directly from Disney.
Eligibility Rules
Each convention package has its own eligibility rules. Some require you to be part of a specific group or event. Others are open to the public but have limited availability. You should read the terms carefully before buying. A match to your travel dates does not automatically mean you are eligible for the discount. You must meet all the requirements listed on the sale page.
Student and Youth Group Rates
Qualifying Groups
Not all groups qualify for student and youth rates. Disney has specific criteria for what constitutes a qualifying group. The group must be organized by a school, youth organization, or educational institution. The group must also meet a minimum size requirement. You should contact Disney's group sales team to verify if your group qualifies.
Booking Process
Booking student and youth group rates often requires working directly with Disney's group sales team. This process can take longer than booking standard tickets. You should start early to ensure availability. Secret Mouse Tickets can help you navigate this process by identifying if your group meets the minimum criteria for a matching offer.
