For most Florida residents and small groups, standard Florida resident discounts and youth group rates offer the most reliable savings. Secret Mouse Tickets helps you identify if your specific dates align with hidden Group and Convention sale pages, which can sometimes beat standard pricing. This guide breaks down the three main ticket categories to help you choose the best option for your budget.
Florida Resident Discounts
Eligibility and Verification
Best For Whom
These tickets are ideal for families or individuals who live in Florida and are planning a trip within the state. If you are a resident, this is often the first place you should look. However, if your travel dates do not align with an active Florida resident sale window, you may need to look at other options. Secret Mouse Tickets can help you determine if a Group and Convention offer is a better fit for your specific dates, even if you are a resident.
Youth Group Tickets
Group Requirements
These tickets usually require a minimum group size, often ranging from 10 to 20 people, depending on the specific offer. The group must be organized under a recognized youth organization or school. Adults accompanying the group may also receive discounted rates, but the primary discount is for the youth participants. It is crucial to review the specific terms of each offer, as eligibility rules can vary.
Availability and Booking
Youth group tickets are not always available for purchase through the standard online ticketing portal. They may require direct booking with a group sales representative. If you are part of a youth organization, it is worth contacting Disney directly to inquire about current offers. For smaller groups that do not meet the minimum size for youth tickets, other options may be more suitable.
Group Size Minimums
Group size minimums are the minimum number of people required to qualify for a specific group ticket rate. These minimums vary by ticket type and offer. For example, some Group and Convention tickets may require a minimum of 10 people, while others may have different thresholds. Understanding these minimums is essential for determining which ticket option is available to you.
How Minimums Affect Pricing
The larger the group, the lower the per-person cost often becomes. However, you must meet the minimum size to qualify for the group rate. If your group is smaller than the minimum, you may not be eligible for that specific discount. Secret Mouse Tickets uses your party size to check if your trip meets the minimum criteria for matching offers. This ensures that you are only shown options that are actually available to your group.
Flexibility in Group Composition
Some group tickets allow for a mix of adults and children, while others may have specific age requirements. It is important to check the composition rules for each offer. For example, a convention ticket might require a certain number of adults per child. By understanding these rules, you can structure your group to maximize savings. If you are unsure about your group's eligibility, using a matching service can help clarify your options.

Disney controls eligibility, and some offers may be restricted to a particular group or event. Read the sale page's terms before buying. A match to your travel dates doesn't establish eligibility on its own.
What is the minimum group size for Secret Mouse Tickets?
Secret Mouse Tickets uses a minimum of three ticket-days total for matching. This could be one guest for three park days, three guests for one park day, or two guests for two park days. This is a trip-size check, not a calculation of your final savings.
Are Florida resident tickets available year-round?
No, Florida resident tickets are typically available during designated sale windows. Disney controls the availability of these offers, so you must check for active sale pages before planning your trip.
How does Secret Mouse Tickets work?
